The number of uninsured children in Pennsylvania hasn’t changed much. But the problem remains: no progress has been made to get them covered.
Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children says from 2022 to 2023, the rate of kids in Pennsylvania without health insurance remained steady at 5.2%, which officials found surprising.
“A pleasant surprise because we were expecting a potentially another year of loss in children’s coverage,” said Vice President of Public Policy Becky Ludwick.
